A separation by Karin Ekberg will open Tempo Documentary Festival the 4th of March.

– Karin Ekberg has made an incredibly strong debut film that manages to capture the private and simultaneously reflect on the universal. It’s a brave film about the complexities of life, made with both humor and warmth.
Tempo Documentary Festival, Stockholm, March 4th– 9th. The inauguration will take place at Folkoperan. In March 7 the movie will go up on theatres all over Sweden via Folkets Bio.
Momento Film director Theresa Traore Dahlberg together with cinematographer Sophie Winqvist has just finished a week of filming in Ouagadougou for a film project in early development. Here are the girls they have been working with, on location at the College of Technical Education. Keep an eye open for more information about the project.
We are happy to announce that A Separation, Karin Ekberg’s tragicomic documentary, is selected for the competition in CPH:DOX 2013! The film portrays the very last acts of a long marriage and is Karin Ekbergs feature length debut.

Momento Film is very happy to welcome Theresa Traore Dahlberg as a new director! Theresa has previously directed the warm documentary Taxi Sister, which screened at several international film festivals, and we believe that she is one of the most interesting rising voices on the Swedish documentary scene. Characterized by a personal narrative and a strong visual imagery, her films have the ability to tackle serious and important social issues in a humorous manner. Currently Theresa is developing a project set in Burkina Faso, which she will start to film on location in November.

While No One Is Watching is an episodic documentary about the global sexual violence against children and the people fighting to stop it. The film is produced by Momento Film in collaboration with Ecpat, and directed by Ulla Lemberg and David Herdies, and shot by the award winning Director of Photography Camilla Skagerström.
