Big congratulations to Eloy Domínguez Serén who received the Companhia das Culturas/Fundação Pereira Monteiro Award for Best Emerging Director at Porto/Post/Doc for Hamada!
« For its sensitivity in presenting the experiences and difficulties of a community in exile. The film shows the daily struggle of being trapped in a prison of repetition and routine in which there is little to no hope of escape. At the same time, the filmmaker manages to capture the fighting spirit of the people and an unexpected lightness in a difficult situation.
