Frida Kempff is a Swedish director and scriptwriter with a bachelor’s degree from Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts. Her feature fictional debut, Knocking, premiered at Sundance 2021 and the documentary Winter Buoy, 2015, premiered at Vision du Reel and was nominated for best Nordic doc at Gothenburg Film Festival. Several of her short films have been screened and awarded at the main festivals, including Cannes, Telluride, IDFA, Palm Springs, and BFI London Film Festival. Frida is represented by ICM Partners, Brillstein Entertainment and Salomonsson Agency.
