What happens when your entire world view is shattered? And how do you form a new one, having to question your closest friends and the truths you took for granted? In Leaving Jesus a group of former religious fundamentalists come together in a house in San Francisco to deal with what they’ve gone through, both as active fundamentalists but also as defectors of a congregation that gave them meaning in life.
